Bio-Medisinsk Innovasjon AS (BMI) offers you the pick of the exciting new biomedical investment opportunities coming out of Norway. We act as an investor and incubator for start-ups, cooperating closely with Inven2, the TTO for Oslo University Hospital and the University of Oslo. We are also strongly linked to the Radium Hospital Research Foundation (RF) and the Oslo Cancer Cluster (OCC), and have recently established collaborations with LU Bio and Sahlgrenska Science Park.

Recent achievement

Vaccibody partner in ADITEC.

Vaccibody is a partner in the EU's 7 framework programme ADITEC, which focuses on new and more powerful immunization techniques. Vaccibody will contribute with its vaccine technology which is especially suited for increasing cellular immunity.

Focus

We see our prime role as reducing risk and increasing success rates for early start-ups. We aim to do this by filling the current commercial management resource gap between the TTO spinout and venture capitalist investment stages. This enables us to create a balanced product portfolio with an optimized risk/return profile; a portfolio full of opportunity for international biomedical investors.
